Teddy Bear Tea Party

Over the last few days I couldn't help but notice some weird things going on around the house. Newly bought cucumbers went missing, as well as cream cheese and bread. A half-empty can of frosting just appeared in the fridge. I also could have sworn that I had an unopened packet of blank cards, too.

Then I woke up the other morning and found this on my windowsill.

Later, I came back to find that somehow, Ted and his new friend had managed to set up said tea party in my absence.

Well, this explains the pile of dirty dishes in the sink.

Not only was there a full tea set, Ted had somehow made cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches, almond shortbread cookies and even a little chocolate cake!

All we need now is some honey. And maybe a fork.

As it turns out, Ted's new friend arrived just time. While the two of them chowed down on cake, I helped myself to a sandwich.

That cake was too cute to resist in the end though. Thankfully the clean-up was just as quick as the assembly, and all teddy bears came away with frosting-free fur.

Everything was delicious, by the way.

Monorail Tour, Part 3

The long overdue conclusion to our monorail tour of the Magic Kingdom resorts! The last hotel we visited was the Contemporary Resort. It was still drizzling a bit, so we decided to explore inside the lobby first.

The murals are even more impressive in person!

It took a few minutes to find our way to the lobby, but eventually we managed to get there.

Is it dinnertime yet? I think I can smell chicken nuggets!

Look at that view! Just don't mash me into the glass, ok?

After wandering the lobby for a bit we realized it had stopped raining. It was just overcast enough that there wasn't any glare from the sun, so it was a good time to take some photos of the grounds!

The pier/dock on one end of the hotel property was (not surprisingly) fairly empty, so we headed that way to check out the view.

Next time let's bring a fishing pole!
I'd love to go back and see if we can get some more photos of Ted at all of the resorts, but I'm very happy with the photos we did get during this run.

One last couch nap before we head back.

Before we got back on the monorail for the last time that day, we did a circuit around the ground floor. There's a sit-down restaurant inside called the Wave, which we were unfortunately unable to get any inside photos of.

Help! It's pulling me in.

All in all, I'd love to do another resort tour sometime in the future after having so much fun with this one. Even if all I end up doing is smashing pennies.

Ted may or may not have had to hold me back.

Special Delivery

It has been so long since my last post! I'm still working through a huge backlog of photos, so in the meantime I wanted to give an exciting announcement.

Gran sent over a package for Ted for Christmas, and it finally arrived today.

I didn't know what was in it, so imagine my surprise when I opened it up to find a face staring back at me!
I'm going to need to stock up on honey, aren't I?

So now Ted has a friend to show around!
