Monorail Tour, Part 2

The second stop on our resort tour was the Grand Floridian. Last time Ted was here it was night, so it was nice to be able to explore it in the daytime.

 Love the view.

 

We did a circuit around the second floor before heading down to the ground level. There's a few neat shops on the second level, including a second Basin location.

 

 

 There's a nice view overlooking the property behind the staircase, but it was still raining.

 

Don't let anyone step on me!

 

Ted found another couch to rest on in the main lobby.

 

I could get used to this.

 

We were also able to check out the giant bird cage opposite the staircase.

 

Talk about an eye-catcher.

 

After we had checked out the lobby, we went outside where there was a carriage parked in front of the entrance.

 

I think I'd prefer the monorail, though.
